ayurveda polyherbal formulationâ€™s Nisamalaki churna tablet (NCT) in alloxan - induced diabetic rats. The formulation
containing consists of the following plants Amla (Emblica officinalis) fruit powder and Turmeric (Curcuma longa) rhizome
powder in a defined proportion. Alloxan was administered as a single dose (120mg/kg, b.wt) to induce diabetes. Administration
of different formulations suspension of NCT (200mg/kg) for 14 days, to alloxan - induced diabetic rats. The fasting blood sugar
levels in alloxan - induced diabetic rats were investigated. Oral administration of different formulations suspension NCT
(200mg/kg) for 14 days exhibited a significant reduction in blood glucose in alloxan induced diabetic rats was compared with
the standard drugs Glibenclamide (5mg/kg). The result suggests that all the manufacturing formulations of NCT having good co
- relations between them in alloxan - induced diabetes rats. Finally it concludes daily routine lifeâ€™s the people are including the
turmeric and emblica in their food products means possible to maintain the blood glucose level and its lead to control diabetes
