162DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION OF A SENSITIVE SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC METHOD FOR THE ESTIMATION OF OLMESARTAN MEDOXOMIL IN PHARMACEUTICAL DOSAGE FORMA simple, rapid and Accurate U.V Spectrophotometric method was developed and validated for quantification of Olmesartan medoxomil in tablet dosage form. This method was based upon determination of Olmesartan at 255nm using Ethanol as solvent. The method exhibited linearity over the concentration range of 1-5µg/ml and was validated as per ICH Guidelines with parameters like Accuracy, precision, LOD and LOQ.
