204ISOLATION OF CHEMICAL CONSTITUENT AND EVALUATION OF CYTOTOXIC ACTIVITY OF INDIGOFERA ASPALATHOIDES VALHThe ethanolic extract of Indigofera aspalathoides used for the isolation of chemical constituents. The active fraction of the ethanolic extract of Indigofera aspalathoides was subjected to silica gel and column chromatography to yield a single compound and was identified as steroids. Ethanolic extract was tested for cytotoxic effected by using trypan blue exclusive model in mice tumor cell. The effect was identified used by heamocytometer. Ethanolic extract of Indigofera aspalathoides was tested different dilution 10-1.10-2 and 10-3.
