different heterocyclic aldehydes have been synthesized. The synthesized complexes have been characterized by spectral
analysis viz IR, 1H NMR, Electronic, XRD, Molar Conductance and their Magnetic moment. The spectral studies indicate
Octahedral geometry for all metal complexs under study. From XRD study, monoclinic, ‘p’ type crystal structure can be
assigned to the synthesized complexes. The complexes were also screened for antifungal and antibacterial activities. The
antimicrobial screening shows that the metal complexes show the enhanced activity than their corresponding ligands
<Email>seemahabib12@gmail.com</Email><articletype>Research</articletype><volume>4</volume><issue>6</issue><year>2013</year><keyword> Schiff bases,Metal complexes,Spectral analysis,Antimicrobial activity</keyword><AUTHORS>Deshpande MM,Seema I Habib,Kulkarni PA</AUTHORS><afflication>P.G.
