for controlled release of drug for extended period of time. Eudragit RL100and Eudragit RS100were used for fabrication of the
matrix diffusion controlled transdermal drug delivery system. Prepared films were characterized for their thickness, tensile
strength and drug content. In vitro release was determined by Franz type diffusion cell to optimize the formulation with the
help of experimental data and figures for further studies. In vitro release amount at different intervals were measured by UV
Spectrophotometer. Results-The drug contents varied from 97 to 99 %. Folding endurance varied due change in DBP
concentration. The system comprising of Eudragit RL100and Eudragit RS100 in 40:60 ratio exhibited drug skin permeation up
to 99.01 %. The transdermal drug delivery system followed diffusion controlled zero order kinetics.
<Email>sagar1385@yahoo.co.in</Email><articletype>Research</articletype><volume>4</volume><issue>12</issue><year>2013</year><keyword>Transdermal drug delivery system,Skin permeation,Release kinetics</keyword><AUTHORS>Sagar N Firke,AB Roge,NB Ghiware, SB Dhoot,SM Vadvalkar</AUTHORS><afflication>Department of Pharmaceutics, Nanded Pharmacy College, Nanded, MH 431602, India.,Department of Pharmaceutics, Nanded Pharmacy College, Nanded, MH 431602, India.,Department of Pharmaceutics, Nanded Pharmacy College, Nanded, MH 431602, India.,Department of Pharmaceutics, Nanded Pharmacy College, Nanded, MH 431602, India.,Department of Pharmaceutics, Nanded Pharmacy College, Nanded, MH 431602, India.</afflication></Article></Articles>
