polyherbal extract induced ehrlich ascites carcinoma in mice. Activity was measured by monitoring the mean survival time,
solid tumor volume, effect on hematological parameters and antioxidant enzyme levels. The results shows, effect of EPHE at
the dose of 500 mg/kg, significantly increase the mean survival time (P<0.001), reduce solid tumor volume (*P<0.01).
Hematological parameters which increase in Neutrophils, protein, PCV and WBC especially. There is a decrease in Hb, RBC
and lymphocytes in malignancy. Antioxidant effect as reflected by decrease in LPO, GST and GPx (oxidant enzymes) and
increase in SOD and catalase (Free radical scavengers). One-way ANOVA Tukey method was followed for statistics. It was
concluded that ethanolic polyherbal extract has shown significant antitumor and antioxidant effect in animals
<Email>deivamraju@yahoo.co.in</Email><articletype>Research</articletype><volume>4</volume><issue>12</issue><year>2013</year><keyword>Invivo-anti oxidant,Anti-tumor,Poly Herbal Extract</keyword><AUTHORS>Deivam Sundarraju,J.
