chemicals of large variety related to structure or function. Multidrug resistance is a common problem not only involved in
cancer but also in many infectious diseases related to different organisms including human. Homology modelling is the method
in which 3D model of target which is generally protein is generated from their sequences using a homologous protein which
acts as template. Till now the complex structure of human P-glycoprotein is not solved successfully by NMR or X-ray
crystallography so in the present investigation 4 online servers including Esypred3D,Homer, Swiss Model,Phyre2 and 1
software named EasyModeller is used to generate 22 homology models of human P-gp which will be further useful in
developing inhibitors and drugs for human P-gp
<Email> rounakpratap4all@yahoo.com</Email><articletype>Research</articletype><volume>5</volume><issue>4</issue><year>2014</year><keyword>Multidrug resistance,Homology modeling,P-glycoprotein</keyword><AUTHORS>Kumar Rounak,Khushhali Menaria,Ajay Pandey,Deepti Jain</AUTHORS><afflication>School of Biotechnology, RGPV, Bhopal, India,Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, India,Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, India,School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, RGPV, Bhopal, India</afflication></Article></Articles>
