animals. The management of bio-medical waste is still in its infancy all over the world. Management of healthcare waste is an
integral part of infection control and hygiene programs in healthcare settings. Hospitals generate waste which is chemically
hazardous, infectious and often radioactive. Most of the hospitals do not have effective disposal system leading to complex
problem of hygiene and sanitation in hospitals. Effective waste disposal can be achieved only by considering the various
