<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><Articles><Article><id>679</id><JournalTitle>ESTIMATION OF ENZYMES [ï¡-AMYLASE, PEROXIDASE,  ALKALINE PHOSPHATASE, ACID PHOSPHATASE, LACTATE  DEHYDROGENASE AND CREATINE KINASE] IN MARINE  SEAWEEDS OF MANDABAM SEA COAST</JournalTitle><Abstract>The aim of this study is to characterize the molecular concentration enzymes present in Marine sea weeds. Seaweeds 
are considered an important source of bioactive molecules. The algal species  Gracilaria folifera,  Hypenea masiforms  (Red) 
and  Sargassum  longifolia,  Turbinaria  gonaidae  (Brown)  and  Bryopsis,  Caulerpa  peldata  (Green)  was  collected  at 
Rameswaram  from  the  intertidal  region  at  a  depth  of  1  m  during  March  2005  in  India,  enzyme  concentration  was  studied 
exclusively. Estimation of enzymes such as ï¡-amylase, Peroxidase, Alkaline phosphatase and Acid phosphatase  was studied for 
their presence in concentration among sea weeds.  Bryopsis reflecting more concentration of  Peroxidase, Alkaline phosphatase 
and  Acid  phosphatase  and  Lactate  dehydrogenase  .  Similarly  Gracilaria  folifera  are  rich  in  Alkaline  phosphatase.The
