Since the method for
determination of Lidocaine and Methyl paraben in Lidocaine and Epinephrine injection by UPLC it is s not described in current
Pharmacopoeias, the aim of this work was to develop and validate a precise, accurate and robust method. Seperation was
achieved on a RP-18 Column (20mm*4.6, 1.8µ particle size), column temperature kept as a ambient. In the mobile phase
preparation mixed 50mL of glacial acetic acid and 90mL of water. Adjusted the pH to 3.50 with 1N Sodium Hydroxide. 800mL
of the above solution is mixed with 200mL of Acetonitrile, mixed well, filtered and degassed. The flow ra te was 1.5mL/minute
and UV detection wavelength at 254 nm. The method was validated by following ICH guidelines and Validation parameters
showed that method can be used as stability indicating for determination of Lidocaine and Methyl paraben in Lidocaine and
