Sandhiyur, Salem district of Tamil Nadu, India to evaluate the efficacy of PGPR Pseudomonas fluorescens as seed treatment
and soil application in managing population of reniform nematode, Rotylenchulus reniformis in castor under field conditions.
Observations on the soil and root population of reniform nematode, Rotylenchulus reniformis in castor (var.YRCH-1) at
harvest revealed that the population was the lowest in soil application of the bioagent Pseudomonas fluorescens application @
2.5 kg/ha (by 47.32 per cent reduction in soil population and 62.75 per cent reduction in root population) with enhanced seed
yield (33.86 per cent increase) and with the highest cost benefit ratio
<Email>poornimamurtysista@gmail.com</Email><articletype>Research</articletype><volume>7</volume><issue>10</issue><year>2016</year><keyword>Reniform nematode,Castor,Bioagent, Pseudomonas fluorescens</keyword><AUTHORS>K.
