growing elderly population and increasing number of patient with diabetes and hypertension. disequilibrium syndrome is
one of the several CNS abnormalities. Objectives: To assess the quality of life in haemodialysis patients with chronic renal
failure in tertiary care hospital. Method: Patients demographic and therapeutic details were collected (name, age , sex etc.,)
and the data regarding medication history, diagnosis , prescribed drugs etc. through data entry form for a period of six
months. And Assessment of the acute complications in haemodialysis patients with chronic renal failure in tertiary care
teaching hospital is done. The quality of life in haemodialysis patients with chronic renal failure in tertiary care teaching
hospital was assessed. Results: Chronic kidney disease is recognised as a major health problem affecting worldwide
population. In India, Diabetes and Hypertension today account for 40-60% cases of chronic kidney disease. The symptom
related quality of life of the patient score was -5.15 which determines reduce in quality of life of patients. The function
related quality of life of the patient score was -3.42 which determines reduce in quality of life of patients. The interpersonal
related quality of life of the patient score was zero which is neither improving nor reducing. The wellbeing related quality
of life of the patient score was 4.9 which determines improve in quality of life of patients. The wellbeing related quality of
life of the patient score was 10.25 which determines improve in quality of life of patients.Conclusion: In our study we
found that the symptom and function wise quality of life of patients seems to be reducing whereas the interpersonal related
quality of life of the patient score was zero which is neither improving nor reducing. The wellbeing and transcendent
