antiemetic drug commonly used to prevent nausea and vomiting. Especially for patients with difficulty swallowing or who
require a rapid onset of action, fast dissolving films offer a convenient alternative to conventional tablets. For the
preparation of the films, domperidone was incorporated uniformly within the polymer matrix using solvent casting.
Various physicochemical properties of the formulations were evaluated, including thickness, weight uniformity, folding
endurance, and a variety of other factors. Domperidone release profiles were also assessed in vitro using in vitro
dissolution studies. Using domperidone fast dissolving films formulated with a combination of natural and synthetic
polymers, this study demonstrates that fast dissolving films can effectively treat nausea and vomiting
<Email>nagasrim85@gmail.com</Email><articletype>Research</articletype><volume>16</volume><issue>1</issue><year>2025</year><keyword>Fast dissolving films, Natural, Synthetic, Polymers, Domperidone, Anti-Emesis</keyword><AUTHORS>Manda Nagasri*, Purushothaman M</AUTHORS><afflication>KLR Pharmacy College, Paloncha, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Telangana- 507511, India</afflication></Article></Articles>
